But I’ve only recently come to the realisation that, while Elf made me dream and yearn for a trip to New York City at Christmas, it’s an amazing place during spring.

People have shed their winter clothing and are starting to feel less glum, looking forward to the blue skies of spring. The cherry blossom trees start to colour the landscape. Believe it or not, but there is more to Italy than pizza! And we all know Rome as the destination for a sunny getaway that offers, in abundance, culture and delicious food.
